This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, process optimization, and enterprise automation, supporting a high-visibility program focused on improving operational efficiency at scale. You will design and build automation solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision-making across multiple teams and Centers of Excellence. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, you will partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into scalable automation capabilities. The role involves building workflows, integrations, and reusable components that support reporting, governance, release readiness, and incident management. You will also contribute to the creation of technical documentation, playbooks, and automation standards that ensure long-term maintainability. You will design, develop, and maintain automation workflows, scripts, and technical solutions that support enterprise-wide operational initiatives, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across processes. You will also build reporting automation systems that streamline recurring reporting tasks, enabling faster and more consistent data delivery across teams.
- Develop and implement automation workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency across program functions
- Build and maintain reporting automation solutions, including templates, scripts, and distribution workflows for recurring operational reports
- Support data integration efforts by connecting systems, operational artifacts, and data sources to enable seamless workflow execution
- Develop automation capabilities for release readiness, governance processes, incident summaries, and root cause analysis support
- Create reusable automation assets, including templates, libraries, and technical components for cross-team adoption
- Produce technical documentation, onboarding materials, validation records, and playbooks to support long-term solution sustainability
- Perform testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automation systems to ensure performance and reliability
This role requires strong experience in process automation, systems integration, and enterprise technical environments, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable engineering solutions. You should be comfortable working in cross-functional settings, managing ambiguity, and delivering high-quality technical outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 5 plus years of experience in process automation engineering within enterprise IT or healthcare modernization environments
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for complex systems
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and modern requirements management practices
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate operational needs into technical automation solutions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio, or similar platforms
- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident with eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Annual salary range of 110,000 to 130,000 USD
