Job Description

Director, Product Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Marketing in the United States.

This leadership role defines how product value is translated into compelling market narratives, owning the strategy that connects product innovation with customer demand. You will shape positioning, messaging architecture, and go-to-market strategy across multiple products and buyer segments in a highly competitive B2B SaaS environment. Acting as the central voice of the market inside the organization, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Demand Generation to ensure alignment from roadmap through revenue impact. This role carries end-to-end ownership of product launches, competitive intelligence, and strategic storytelling that differentiates offerings in the marketplace. You will also lead and develop a product marketing team, setting standards for execution and strategic thinking. The position requires both high-level vision and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, data-informed organization.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will define and lead the full product marketing strategy, ensuring consistent and differentiated positioning across all products, segments, and channels while driving measurable impact on go-to-market success.

  • Set the strategic direction for product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution across all offerings.
  • Own the master messaging architecture across buyer personas, segments, and product lines.
  • Lead end-to-end product launch strategy and ensure cross-functional GTM readiness.
  • Drive competitive intelligence initiatives and translate market insights into positioning and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation to shape campaign briefs, including value propositions, audiences, and key proof points.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to ensure demos and enablement materials reflect current market narratives.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and translate customer insights into actionable strategy.
  • Manage and develop the product marketing team, setting performance expectations and elevating execution quality.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to inform roadmap decisions based on market and competitive intelligence.
Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned product marketing leader with deep expertise in B2B SaaS, strong market intuition, and the ability to turn complex insights into clear, differentiated positioning that drives revenue impact.

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in product marketing within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience in people management and leading product marketing teams.
  • Strong ability to develop differentiated positioning and value propositions that stand out in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of buyer psychology, customer pain points, and the end-to-end buying journey, supported by direct customer engagement and research.
  • Strong competitive intelligence skills with the ability to translate insights into strategic advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, capable of adapting messaging for executive, sales, and customer audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and speak in clear, buyer-centric language rather than internal or product jargon.
  • Experience in real estate, proptech, or vertical SaaS is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Benefits:
  • Competitive executive-level compensation package
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Remote-friendly and flexible work environment
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule
  • Leadership development and career growth opportunities
  • Opportunity to shape company-wide go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborative, cross-functional leadership culture
  • Exposure to high-impact product launches and strategic initiatives
  • Performance-driven and innovation-focused environment
  • Inclusive workplace with equal opportunity employment standards
