• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions using Go and modern backend technologies.
• Contribute to the evolution of system architecture, proposing long-term improvements focused on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Collaborate in defining technical standards, engineering processes, automation strategies, and best practices across the platform.
• Investigate complex technical issues, anticipate risks, and deliver efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and services for healthcare users and partners.
• Ensure high-quality deliveries through testing, documentation, performance optimization, and observability practices.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decision-making processes.
• Support modern engineering culture initiatives including CI/CD, monitoring, security, and cloud-native practices.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.

• Strong backend engineering experience, preferably using Go (Golang), or the ability to quickly ramp up in the language.
• Solid experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs and distributed backend services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, including highly available and secure environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, API Gateway solutions, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with microservices architectures, event-driven systems, messaging services, and complex integrations.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka, SQS, or similar asynchronous communication tools.
• Strong understanding of Docker and containerized development environments.
• Knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure development practices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, KISS, DRY, and maintainable architecture patterns.
• Experience with version control best practices, documentation standards, caching, logging, and system performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and ownership mindset.
• Experience in high-traffic or mission-critical systems is considered a plus.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools and process automation is a differential.
