Salary: $65,000 - 75,000 Annually DOE

SUMMARY

The Club Accounting Analyst supports the Club Controller with weekly financial analysis and reporting, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end closing activities for two golf clubs in Chandler, Arizona. This role is full-time and on-site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting or operational accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with some advanced Excel skills required (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Customer service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience in hospitality, club or multi-location accounting environments preferred

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Club Controller with preparation of weekly and monthly financial reporting packages
• Support cash flow forecasting, reporting, and other accounting functions as needed
• Research and help resolve account variances
• Reconcile accounts payable statements
• Assist with accounts payable processing and related functions
• Develop working knowledge of all accounting systems used by the company, including:
  • JONAS Club Management POS and Accounting Software
  • Quadient AP by Beanworks

PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on outstanding issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods while performing job duties
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds
