Crew Member in Brockton, Massachusetts at Cape Cod Cafe

Our busy restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation and ensuring that our order counter runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and pasta

- Operate the restaurant register, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service

- Responsible for taking customer orders accurately and entering them into the POS system

- Maintain a clean and organized area

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth operation

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for operating the register

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
