Sr. Director, AI Program Management

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise IT, and organizational transformation. You will be responsible for shaping and scaling an internal AI ecosystem that enables employees to adopt and leverage AI safely and effectively across the business. The position combines strategic program leadership with hands-on execution across AI adoption, community building, and governance. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that drive productivity, innovation, and responsible AI usage at scale. Operating in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment, you will partner with teams across engineering, legal, sales, marketing, and IT. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about building AI fluency across an entire organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design and expansion of an enterprise-wide internal AI community, fostering engagement, knowledge sharing, and peer-to-peer learning.
  • Develop and manage programs that improve AI literacy, including training initiatives, certification pathways, and enablement resources.
  • Build and maintain an internal AI knowledge hub offering curated tools, best practices, and structured learning journeys.
  • Coordinate a network of AI champions across business functions to accelerate adoption and ensure consistent support.
  • Oversee high-impact AI initiatives such as workflow transformation, platform adoption, and enterprise-wide AI enablement programs.
  • Define rollout strategies, communications plans, and adoption frameworks to ensure successful execution of AI initiatives.
  • Support responsible AI governance efforts, collaborating with stakeholders on safety, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
  • Partner with legal and AI governance bodies to align enterprise usage with regulatory and internal standards.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management within fast-paced, ambiguous, or highly dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, with some hands-on exposure to model development preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, safety principles, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs and drive enterprise-scale change.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for execution and problem-solving in evolving environments.
  • Curiosity and continuous learning mindset around emerging AI technologies and trends.
