We're looking for a dependable, compassionate Dietary Aide/Cook who enjoys serving others and helping create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents.

In this versatile, cross-trained position, you'll gain hands-on experience in both food preparation and dining services. Whether you're preparing delicious meals, serving residents with a smile, or helping maintain a clean and inviting dining environment, your work will make a difference every day!

• Dishwasher/Aid Hours: Primarily weekdays from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts and required holiday availability.

• Cook Hours: Flexible scheduling between 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, based on operational needs.

$15.50 - $17.50 hourly

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the posted weekly menu

• Prepare alternative meals when needed

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving

• Follow residents’ dietary requirements and portion guidelines

• Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice ingredients

• Check and record food temperatures before meals are served

• Serve residents in a courteous, patient, and respectful manner

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces

• Clean dining areas, countertops, floors, and workstations

• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and inventory practices

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and storage requirements

• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely meal service

• Complete other dietary and kitchen duties as assigned

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, instructions, and dietary requirements

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

• Ability to multitask and work well as part of a team

• Previous cooking, kitchen, or food-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

• Ability to follow all food-safety and sanitation requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

• Willingness to be trained and scheduled as both a dietary aide and cook
