Loan Servicing Associate in Chicago, Illinois at Renovo Financial

Position Summary:The Loan Servicing Associate will play a crucial role in providing support to a given department in our Loan Servicing business unit. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, manages time very effectively while staying organized, and can communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:Payment Processing and Reconciliation•Draft, reconcile, and finalize payoff and paydown statements•Reconcile payments and assist in sending out monthly payment statements•Draft monthly ACH payments•Apply monthly payments received via wire•Review, reconcile, and apply payoff funds without outreach as needed if short payoff is received
Escrow and Documentation Management•Process and analyze escrow accounts•Routinely manage collateral documentation
Quality Control and Process Improvement•Perform quality analysis reviews•Contribute to process improvement and propose edits to policies, procedures, and job aids as needed
Communication and Customer Support•Review and respond to emails timely and accurately from personal and team inbox•Assist in guest service outreach and response as needed
Compliance and Administrative Support•Become a registered Illinois notary and maintain notary registration•Other projects as assigned

What We Look For:•Live in the Chicagoland or Tampa area•Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail•Manage daily tasks and prioritize workload independently•Excellent written and verbal communication•Outstanding organizational skills•Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from loan servicing associates to senior management•Team-player that will work to find solutions•In Office role with minimum flexibility for remote work•Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills•Previous experience in loan servicing is a plus but not required•Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required•Experience with Salesforce is a plus•Experience with real estate a plus but not require
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
