  • Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning, motion practice, and overall litigation management.
  • Take and defend depositions, conduct legal research, and prepare detailed case evaluations and legal analyses.
  • Assess insurance liability exposure and provide strategic recommendations to clients on risk and resolution pathways.
  • Draft high-quality legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective case handling and consistent communication.
  • Maintain multiple active matters simultaneously while delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality legal work product.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally focused on health insurance, ERISA, or related insurance defense matters.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Strong experience in state and federal court litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work product.
  • Ability to independently manage cases while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong academic credentials and a solid foundation in civil litigation and insurance law.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation ranging from $130,000 to $165,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for discretionary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Student loan repayment assistance programs.
  • Flexible remote work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a national litigation practice.
  • Exposure to complex, high-impact insurance and ERISA litigation matters.
