Job Description: With the support of our current physicists and physics assistants, you will be required to travel to area hospitals and clinics to independently perform all the required testing and certifications on a broad array of equipment across all modalities. The primary territory is the state of Iowa. Some overnight travel may be required. Jaeger Corporation encourages teamwork across all sectors of our company; however, independence, organization, and effective communication are essential skills for success in this position.

Job Duties:

Annual Certification for all Modalities

Mammography, CT, MRI

Rad, Fluoro, Ultrasound

Review Workstations

Nuclear Medicine (preferred but not required)

Professional Services

CT Protocol Review

Radiation Protection Surveys

Assistance with ACR, IAC, and TJC accreditation

Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Medical Physics or a Physical Science is required; completion of a CAMPEP-approved residency is preferred. The candidate must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Diagnostic Physics.

About Jaeger Corporation:

Jaeger Corporation has been providing Therapeutic and Diagnostic Medical Physics services to the Midwest region since 1985. Our physicist led group provides high-quality diagnostic services to over 200 clients throughout Iowa and Nebraska, as well as, therapeutic physics and remote dosimetry services to 16 hospitals and cancer clinics in Iowa and Nebraska.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Medical Physics

ABR certification or Board eligible
