Automotive Paint Technician

Kaizen Collision Center – Delta, Colorado
Full-Time | $28–$30 Per Flag Hour

If You Can Paint, Produce, and Deliver Quality — Let’s Talk.

Kaizen Collision Center in Delta, Colorado is looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Technician who knows how to produce.

We’re not looking for someone who is still learning the trade.

We want a proven collision painter who can step into a busy shop, manage their workflow, match difficult colors, blend correctly, and consistently send quality work out of the booth.

If you're currently producing for another collision center and wondering whether there’s a better opportunity out there, this may be the conversation worth having.

Your Experience Should Pay

$28–$30 per flag hour, based on experience and qualifications.

We’re looking for someone who understands that flag-hour compensation rewards technicians who know how to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.

We Want a Painter Who Can
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality automotive finishes
  • Mix and accurately match colors
  • Handle difficult color matches and blends
  • Properly prepare panels for refinishing
  • Apply primers, basecoats, and clearcoats
  • Produce clean blends and transitions
  • Identify and correct paint imperfections
  • Follow OEM refinishing procedures
  • Keep the booth and work area organized
  • Work with body technicians and production to keep vehicles moving
  • Balance quality and production every day
You Should Already Know the Job

Professional collision refinishing experience is required.

We’re especially interested in painters who have:

  • Strong color-matching skills
  • Excellent blending ability
  • Experience with modern automotive paint systems
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation and refinishing
  • A proven ability to produce in a busy collision environment
  • High personal standards for finished work
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic
  • I-CAR and/or OEM certifications are a plus
