Position Summary
The focus of this position is to enhance aspects of the DateCodeGenie® [DCG] product line. Specifically, this role will be responsible for Agile framework and scrum leadership integrating software and hardware for the DateCodeGenie product. A successful candidate will have UI/UX experience and be responsible for maximizing the product's value by managing and prioritizing the product backlog, bridging the gap between stakeholders, engineers and software developers.
This position is being opened at a time of rapid growth and change in the company, so the successful candidate will be eager to meet not only the essential duties and responsibilities listed below but also to proactively use his or her unique skills to respond to the challenges and opportunities that face the DCG line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The core tasks this role is responsible for performing on a regular basis.
• Integration of multi-year roadmap, aligning stakeholders of prioritization, and release planning.
• Key Account support – work closely with customers and Sales to ensure product needs are met.
• Translate customer insights, industry trends, and internal feedback into actionable requirements, epics, and user stories for cross-functional scrum teams.
• Product development R&D of DateCodeGenie Products and services.
• Product lifecycles (component selection, prototyping, vendor coordination, field testing) and software feature delivery (API integrations, subscription tools, printing workflows, device management, UI/UX enhancements).
• Champion product quality and reliability, ensuring product releases meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements for commercial kitchen use.
• Create prototypes, wireframes and functional specifications.
• Development of knowledge base materials and product leadership of training content.
• Support DateCodeGenie innovation cycle through collaboration with enterprise Product Owners.
• Agile/Scrum leadership of DateCodeGenie product team.
• Validation and acceptance of products meet the definition “complete and acceptable for deployment”.
• Tactical Integration DCG enhancements.
• NCCO Relationship with external development team for DateCodeGenie.
• Lead end-to-end product development for DateCodeGenie’s digital labeling ecosystem, spanning IoT hardware, cloud software, mobile apps, and restaurant operations tools used across thousands of foodservice locations.
• Ability to present and educate product solutions to stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Knowledge of project management applications, experience with Wrike a plus
• Scrum Alliance CSPO or PSPO
