Our core values are rooted in accountability, quality, adaptability, collaboration, and drive.

Position Description:

At Meditology, we help organizations transform the way they manage third-party cybersecurity risk. The Cybersecurity Success Manager is a strategic role that combines deep cybersecurity expertise with client engagement, program leadership, and innovation. You will design and deliver security success strategies that enable clients to reduce risk, meet compliance expectations, and mature their vendor risk management programs.

This role focuses on driving program outcomes, strengthening governance and controls, operationalizing TPRM programs, and developing innovative approaches to risk management across some of the nation’s most complex organizations.

Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity & Risk Leadership

  • Advise clients on building and maturing third-party risk management programs aligned with industry standards (HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA).
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies for executives and boards.
  • Shape and implement security success strategies tailored to client goals and risk appetite.
  • Guide organizations in operationalizing their TPRM programs, from strategy design to execution and continuous improvement.
  • Help define and apply risk tolerance frameworks, ensuring organizations understand acceptable levels of risk and build controls accordingly.
  • Drive risk awareness by engaging stakeholders across business functions and embedding cybersecurity into organizational culture.

Innovation & Strategy

  • Introduce innovative practices and technologies to streamline risk identification, assessment, and remediation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and outcomes through data-driven insights and automation.
  • Partner with clients to evolve their risk management programs toward a proactive, predictive model.
  • Develop third-party risk management strategies, helping organizations prioritize suppliers, segment risk tiers, and build scalable approaches to vendor engagement.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to scale, automate, and innovate client services and program delivery.

Program Execution & Governance

  • Oversee delivery of vendor risk assessments, reporting, and remediation tracking with precision and consistency.
  • Establish governance frameworks and reporting structures that provide visibility into client risk posture.
  • Drive measurement of program success through metrics and executive dashboards.

Client Engagement & Influence

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring alignment of services to strategic objectives.
  • Build trusted partnerships with executives, CISOs, and stakeholders, balancing security expertise with relationship management.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (analysts, advisors, product, engineering) to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Represent the organization as a trusted security partner at client meetings, supplier summits, and industry events.
  • Mentor and support peers in blending cybersecurity expertise with customer success principles.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advisor, contributing to thought leadership and industry dialogue.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information risk management, or third-party risk roles.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Proven ability to design and operationalize risk management strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity and GRC tools and practices.
  • Proven track record managing enterprise clients and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence executive stakeholders and lead strategic conversations.

Physical Requirements:

This position operates in a remote/home office environment and involves primarily sedentary work.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods, typically at a computer workstation
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and in writing
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read documents and view a computer screen for extended periods
  • Occasional travel may be required, including the ability to sit for extended periods during travel and transport standard business materials (e.g., a laptop bag, up to approximately 15–20 lbs)
  • Ability to maintain a reliable distraction-free home office environment conducive to focused work and confidential company and client information
