ABOUT THE ROLE

• Scope of work: Plan, design, and configure LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Ensure network architecture meets organizational security and performance requirements.
• Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards. Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams, IP address schemes, configurations).
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated network problems.
• Collaborate with helpdesk and system administrators for cross-functional issues. Analyze network traffic and usage trends.
• Recommend upgrades or changes to improve performance and scalability. Plan for future growth and emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans. Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
• Prepare reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics.
