Maybe you’ve been the right hand to a Head of Marketing or CMO. Maybe you’ve helped scale a business from $20M to $50M (or beyond), built demand generation programs that drove growth, led major initiatives, and managed teams but haven’t yet had the opportunity to own the entire marketing function.

INTOO is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven marketing leader to lead our marketing function and help shape the future of career development and workforce transformation.

We’re looking for someone who has been close to the action, someone who understands how high-performing marketing organizations operate because they’ve helped build one. You’ve influenced strategy, led cross-functional initiatives, developed people, driven growth, and earned a seat at the table. Now you’re ready to own the vision, strategy, and execution.

As VP of Marketing, you’ll lead a talented team, partner closely with Sales, Product, Client Success, and Executive Leadership, and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both company growth and the lives of the people we serve.

This is a role for a builder. Someone who enjoys creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist. Someone who loves testing ideas, uncovering opportunities, developing talent, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Most importantly, we’re looking for a leader who is excited by growth! Growth of a business, the growth of a team, and their own growth as an executive leader.

Travel Requirement: Approximately 2–3 weeks (5 - 10%) of travel per year, including international, attendance at company team meetings, client events, conferences, and other business-related activities as needed.

What You'll Own

Strategic Marketing Leadership
~ Develop and execute the company's integrated marketing strategy to drive awareness, demand generation, pipeline growth, and customer engagement.
~ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while managing external partners and agencies.
~ Serve as a key cross-functional leader, aligning marketing initiatives with company goals and collaborating across departments.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy
~ Own product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
~ Partner with product and leadership teams to provide market feedback, influence product direction, and develop successful launch strategies.
~ Create compelling sales and customer-facing materials that bring our value proposition to life.

Demand Generation & Growth
~ Drive lead generation strategy across channels, including PPC, paid media, webinars, partnerships, events, and emerging opportunities.
~ Partner closely with the SDR team to refine messaging, improve conversion, and maximize pipeline impact.
~ Identify and develop new lead gen opportunities, growth channels, and innovative demand generation strategies.

Content, Brand & Communications
~ Lead content strategy across written, visual, and video formats.
~ Oversee creative direction to ensure a strong, consistent brand experience.
~ Manage INTOO's webinar program, including content strategy, topic development, and execution.
~ Drive organic social media strategy and thought leadership initiatives.
~ Lead PR efforts, building awareness and credibility through earned media opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Business Insights
~ Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends and opportunities.
~ Own marketing analytics, reporting, and budget management, ensuring investments drive measurable business outcomes.
~ Act as a global brand representative and ambassador for INTOO internally with our US team and among our parent company Gi Group’s broader global community of marketers.

Sales Enablement
~ Equip sales teams with the messaging, content, tools, and insights they need to engage prospects and win business.
~ Create alignment between marketing and sales efforts to improve performance across the funnel.

Marketing Innovation & AI Enablement
~ Champion the thoughtful adoption and experimentation of AI across the marketing organization to improve productivity, accelerate execution, and unlock new capabilities.
~ Identify, test, and implement AI-powered workflows within the marketing tech stack to help the team work smarter without adding unnecessary complexity.
~ Leverage AI best practices for content creation, research, campaign development, reporting, personalization, and operational efficiency while maintaining brand quality and authenticity.

You'll also provide strategic guidance to members of the Marketing team who own:
~ SEO
~ Email marketing
~ Website strategy and development
~ Campaign ideation and execution
~ Demand generation technology and marketing operations
~ Events and experiential marketing, from intimate executive programs to large-scale conferences

~ Proven experience building, mentoring, and developing teams across a range of experience levels.
~ Ability to inspire, coach, and elevate both internal team members and external partners.
~ Strong cross-functional leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

Marketing Expertise
~ Strong experience across several areas of B2B marketing, including demand generation, content, brand, product marketing, or sales enablement, with a desire to continue expanding your expertise.
~ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
~ Strong business acumen and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data into action.

Creative & Growth Mindset
~ A sharp eye for design, branding, and storytelling.
~ Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where not everything is fully defined.
~ Naturally curious, experimental, and eager to test new ideas.
~ Creative thinker who enjoys finding fresh, unexpected ways to tell stories, reach audiences, and drive results.

Technology & Innovation
~ Enthusiasm for emerging marketing technologies, including AI and automation.
~ Proven ability to evaluate and implement tools and workflows that increase team effectiveness and efficiency.
~ Practical understanding of how AI can enhance marketing outcomes across content, demand generation, analytics, research, and operations.
