About the Role:

The Closing Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and facilitating the final stages of real estate transactions to ensure a smooth and timely closing process. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to coordinate between buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders. The Closing Coordinator is responsible for preparing and reviewing closing documents, scheduling appointments, and resolving any issues that may arise prior to closing. By effectively managing communication and documentation, this role helps to minimize delays and ensures compliance with all legal and contractual requirements. Ultimately, the Closing Coordinator contributes to a positive client experience by delivering seamless transaction closings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in real estate, title, escrow, or related closing coordination roles.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate closing processes, documentation, and terminology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and real estate transaction management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in residential or commercial real estate transactions.
  • Familiarity with state and federal real estate laws and regulations.
  • Certification in real estate closing or escrow processes (e.g., Certified Closing Specialist).
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM and document management systems specific to real estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule all closing activities, including meetings with clients, attorneys, lenders, and title agents.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute closing documents to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Communicate proactively with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to address questions and resolve issues.
  • Track and manage deadlines to ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are met before closing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transaction documents and update internal systems accordingly.
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies or challenges that arise during the closing process.
  • Provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams to keep all parties informed.
