Lake Prince Woods, a premier retirement community in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking an exceptional, energetic, and caring CNA to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Position SummaryThe CNA provides direct resident care and supports residents in maintaining the highest possible level of independence and quality of life. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist residents with daily activities while ensuring care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, company policies, and state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Support resident independence and dignity
- Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition
- Follow established care plans and nursing directives
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) months of experience performing basic nursing assistant duties
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Current CNA certification and required in-service training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Passion for serving older adults
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
