Technical Recruiter (Temporary / 3-Month Contract) in Washington, District of Columbia at Systech Federal

Systech Federal is seeking a driven, proactive Technical Recruiter for a 3-month temporary contract to drive full life-cycle recruiting initiatives for mission-critical federal contracts across the Washington, DC area.

Duration: 3 Months (with potential for extension based on performance and program needs)

Responsibilities

• Drive full life-cycle recruitment for cleared technical roles supporting federal prime and subcontract awards over the 3-month engagement.
• Rapidly source passive and active cleared candidates utilizing resume databases, professional networks, clearance job boards, and referral campaigns.
• Screen candidates for technical qualifications, cultural alignment, compensation expectations, and security clearance eligibility (Secret, Top Secret/SCI, Full Scope Polygraph).
• Partner directly with leadership and technical delivery managers to understand requisition requirements and align candidates to specific labor categories.
• Format candidate resumes to match contract submission standards and submit compliant candidate profiles for immediate review.
• Facilitate interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer extensions, and salary negotiations.

• Ability to hit the ground running in a short-term contract, with strong search and candidate outreach skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage and build rapport with cleared technical professionals.
• Strong organizational habits and the discipline to prioritize high-urgency requisitions independently.
