This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Operations, New Content Experiences (NCX) based in the United States.

This senior leadership role will architect the operating model behind emerging entertainment experiences across a global streaming platform.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for taking ambitious 0-to-1 concepts from early development through scalable, high-quality launches.
The scope spans live events, games, podcasts, and other emerging formats, requiring both operational rigor and comfort with ambiguity.
You will connect Content, Product, Engineering, Experience Design, Marketing, and regional teams to turn complex initiatives into executable plans.
A major focus will be building scalable workflows, playbooks, launch processes, and contingency plans that enable new experiences to move rapidly into global operations.
You will also serve as a player-coach, personally guiding high-profile launches while developing a world-class operations organization.
This is an opportunity to shape how audiences experience the next generation of entertainment in a fast-moving, highly creative, and globally connected environment.

Accountabilities
  • Architect and lead the operations function supporting New Content Experiences, overseeing multidisciplinary teams of Program Managers, Launch Managers, and Creative Operations specialists.
  • Build and scale operating models for 0-to-1 experiences, including live events, games, podcasts, and other emerging content formats.
  • Establish clear workflows, documentation, playbooks, onboarding materials, and operational standards that enable new experiences to transition efficiently into established regional operations.
  • Continuously simplify and improve intake, operationalization, launch, and contingency-planning processes to increase speed, reduce risk, and improve execution quality.
  • Serve as a strategic bridge between Content, Product Management, Engineering, Experience Design, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, translating complex requirements into clear operational workflows and technical roadmaps.
  • Oversee risk management, service-level expectations, contingency planning, and launch readiness for high-profile and time-sensitive launches, including live experiences.
  • Personally lead ambiguous or high-impact launches when needed, operating as a player-coach while simultaneously developing scalable processes for broader adoption.
  • Provide executive leadership with clear, synthesized visibility into program status, risks, dependencies, operational challenges, and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner closely with regional product merchandising leaders to ensure local content experiences remain aligned with evolving product capabilities and strategic priorities.
  • Develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary organization, fostering a culture centered on innovation, speed, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify workflow bottlenecks, evaluate operational performance, and design new solutions.
  • Establish repeatable standards of excellence for emerging content experiences before scaling successful models across international markets.
Requirements
  • Extensive leadership experience building and managing multidisciplinary operations, program management, or launch organizations, ideally within complex technology, product, media, or entertainment environments.
  • Demonstrated success operating in 0-to-1 environments, bringing structure, alignment, and scalable processes to ambiguous and rapidly evolving initiatives.
  • Strong experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving teams such as Engineering, Product, Content, Design, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to distill complex operational realities into concise recommendations, presentations, and written communications for senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence and align matrixed organizations and senior stakeholders without relying on direct reporting relationships.
  • Strong operational and analytical mindset, with the ability to combine quantitative and qualitative insights to identify bottlenecks, assess risk, and improve processes.
  • Experience designing scalable workflows, operating models, documentation, service-level expectations, launch processes, and contingency frameworks.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, organizational design, and development of high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution, particularly when managing high-profile, ambiguous, or time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Deep curiosity about the evolving entertainment and media landscape, including live content, games, podcasts, and emerging formats.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges involved in designing processes that can scale across diverse international markets and regional operating environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where priorities evolve quickly and new operating models must be created from the ground up.
Benefits
  • Annual compensation: $540,000–$870,000, with the actual range determined by location, job family, background, skills, and experience.
  • Compensation is generally structured around annual salary, with the flexibility to choose how compensation is allocated between salary and stock options.
  • No traditional annual bonus structure.
  • Comprehensive health plans.
  • Mental health support and wellness resources.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.

  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
  • Family-forming benefits.
  • Life and serious injury benefits.

  • Remote U.S. work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact, global initiatives shaping emerging entertainment experiences.
  • Inclusive and diverse environment that values different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
  • Significant opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and organizational impact.
