Berkshire Health Systems
The Brien Center, Berkshire County’s largest provider of community mental health and addiction services, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to join its outpatient behavioral health team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

The Brien Center is one of the largest community behavioral health organizations in Western Massachusetts, with approximately 500 employees serving adults, children, adolescents, and families across Berkshire County.
Its comprehensive continuum of care includes:
- Outpatient behavioral health services
- Residential and community-based programs
- Substance use disorder treatment
- Child and adolescent services
- A 24/7 crisis response team
- Care for patients experiencing serious mental illness, depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric conditions
Position Highlights
- Full-time, on-site outpatient position
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the clinical team
- Treat a diverse patient population with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Eligible for DEA registration
