Salary: $90,000 – $93,000 per year

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, daytime hours
Every other first Saturday of the month: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient primary care clinic in Bethpage. This role provides direct clinical support to providers, performs nursing assessments, and manages patient triage in a fast-paced clinic environment serving a diverse patient population.

Many of our patients include individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), making compassion, patience, and strong communication skills essential.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) seeking an outpatient primary care or clinic nurse position with a stable daytime schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for outpatient primary care patients

Provide patient triage and respond to clinical inquiries

Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures

Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care

Coordinate care with medical providers and behavioral health professionals

Document patient care in eClinicalWorks EMR

Maintain compliance with clinical policies and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

Required

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year RN experience, preferably in an outpatient or physician office setting

Current BLS certification

Experience working with patients with I/DD

Knowledge of physician office or outpatient clinic workflows

Preferred

Experience using eClinicalWorks (EMR)

Strong patient education and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
