Job Description

Marketing Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Lead based in Brazil.

This is a high-impact, first-marketing-leader opportunity at a fast-growing global fintech infrastructure company.
You will own the full marketing function, spanning category strategy, positioning, content, demand generation, ABM, partnerships, events, PR, and sales enablement.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will turn a founder-led narrative into a scalable marketing system that can resonate across multiple international markets.
A major focus will be defining a differentiated category and making complex payments infrastructure easy for financial executives and product leaders to understand.
You will operate as both strategist and hands-on builder, creating programs yourself before growing the team and external partner network.
The role combines enterprise marketing, fintech expertise, regional market knowledge, and close collaboration with sales, product, engineering, and leadership.
It is particularly suited to an entrepreneurial marketer who wants significant ownership and the opportunity to shape a category from an early stage.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the overall marketing strategy and execution across positioning, category creation, content, demand generation, ABM, partner marketing, events, PR, communications, and sales enablement.
  • Define and maintain the company's category, messaging, terminology, and positioning, ensuring consistency across markets and internal teams.
  • Conduct a deep assessment of existing messaging and marketing materials, identifying gaps and opportunities to sharpen the company's market position.
  • Build and operate a high-quality content engine, producing substantial monthly thought-leadership assets and repurposing them into social content, videos, webinars, research, and sales materials.
  • Develop content around regional payments, payment corridors, regulatory developments, stablecoin infrastructure, and other topics relevant to financial institutions and enterprise buyers.
  • Own account-based marketing programs across Africa, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe, including account scoring, sequencing, campaign design, and executive engagement programs.
  • Develop and execute broad inbound marketing initiatives while creating targeted programs for named enterprise accounts in partnership with regional sales leaders.
  • Lead partner and network marketing initiatives, including co-marketing campaigns, joint content, announcements, events, and mutually beneficial programs.
  • Own the events and field-marketing calendar, including conferences, roundtables, dinners, side events, pre-event engagement, post-event follow-up, and measurement of commercial returns.
  • Build sales enablement resources such as presentations, talk tracks, objection-handling materials, implementation guides, and customer stories.
  • Ensure the website and marketing materials proactively address key buyer questions and support enterprise sales conversations.
  • Establish strong cross-functional planning rhythms with engineering, product, sales, and leadership so that launches and initiatives are coordinated proactively.
  • Coordinate PR, communications, earned media, and external agencies while maintaining a high standard for brand and messaging quality.
  • Establish clear marketing KPIs, measure program performance, and demonstrate the contribution of marketing activities to enterprise pipeline and revenue.
  • Begin as a hands-on individual contributor while using budget for freelancers and agencies, with the opportunity to build a specialized internal marketing team as the function grows.
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in B2B marketing, with meaningful experience in LATAM fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, or an adjacent technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build marketing programs from first principles in an early-stage, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution; comfortable defining the strategy, writing copy, briefing creative partners, building campaigns, and measuring results.
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing and how marketing contributes to enterprise sales cycles, with experience defining KPIs and owning measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts such as stablecoins, on-chain payments, APIs, compliance, and financial infrastructure into clear and compelling value propositions for executives and product leaders.
  • Experience with category creation, positioning, messaging, thought leadership, or other programs designed to establish a differentiated market presence.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish is required, with strong written communication and localization skills.
  • Portuguese proficiency is strongly preferred, particularly for work across Brazilian markets.
  • Practical experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, marketing analytics, and campaign measurement.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content, research, translation, and marketing workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for executives, sales teams, partners, customers, and regional markets.
  • Commercially minded and comfortable connecting marketing activity to pipeline, enterprise opportunities, and revenue.
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working without detailed briefs or predefined processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketing disciplines simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the judgment to determine what should be built internally versus outsourced to freelancers or agencies.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Flexible, remote-first work arrangement.
  • Opportunity to work remotely from Brazil while collaborating across global time zones.
  • Travel opportunities for global team gatherings and relevant industry events.
  • Direct exposure and collaboration with founders and senior leadership.
  • Significant ownership and autonomy in shaping the marketing function.
  • Budget and authority to build the marketing organization, including external agencies, freelancers, and future full-time specialists.
  • Opportunity to define positioning and marketing strategy across multiple international markets.
  • High-impact role at the intersection of fintech, payments, infrastructure, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Opportunity to work in a global, distributed environment with colleagues across Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
