Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to join our team. Lead all activities of the purchasing department. This critical role is responsible for buying, selling, and managing the flow of products as well as negotiating contracts and evaluating suppliers.
The ideal candidate has a combination of leadership skills, product knowledge, industry experience & overseeing the daily workflow, budget, and schedules of the purchasing department.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including the creation, validation, amendment, and maintenance of purchase orders in line with business requirements.
- Coordinate with global and regional Procurement Centers to maintain and update local procurement master data, including information related to framework and long-term contracts.
- Enter, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of data within procurement-related systems and databases.
- Conduct spend analysis and develop sourcing scenarios based on business requirements, market intelligence, supplier capabilities, and supply market trends.
- Identify, assess, and monitor potential supply, financial, operational, and reputational risks, and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support the Procurement Manager in developing price forecasts and cost assumptions for annual budgeting and planning cycles.
- Monitor compliance of internal stakeholders and external suppliers with established procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Lead or support the negotiation, review, and management of long-term supplier contracts to achieve competitive costs, reliable supply, and favorable commercial terms.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in accordance with approved procurement procedures, due diligence requirements, and documentation standards.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date supplier and contract records, ensuring that electronic and physical documentation is properly stored and readily accessible.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations and continuity of supply.
Qualification & other requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, procurement policies, and purchasing procedures.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to achieve cost savings and favorable contractual terms.
- Good understanding of supplier risk management, including supply, financial, operational, and reputational risks.
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to support sourcing and budgeting decisions.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with cross-functional and international stakeholders is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data-analysis tools.
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
