Requirements: Doctorate in cancer biology or related field and 3-5 years of experience/exposure in molecular biology/cancer biology.

The Coffman lab is searching for highly motivated applicants for a post-doctoral fellow position studying the ovarian cancer stromal microenvironment. Our lab focuses on the formation and function of cancer associated stroma to understand and target ovarian cancer initiation, growth and spread. Our lab is highly translational with the overarching goal of moving our basic research into novel treatments for ovarian cancer patients. Work from our lab is currently in early phase clinical trials. Dr. Coffman is a physician scientist and welcomes trainees with both clinical and basic research backgrounds.
Applicants should have experience in the following:
• primary human cell culture
• molecular biology techniques including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and PCR/RT-qPCR
• mouse models of cancer
• cell-based assays including proliferation, migration, therapy-response assessment
