Over 85% of our families live in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.

Saturday Night Lights (SNL) is a public safety and youth engagement initiative launched through the District Attorney’s Office that provides free, high-quality sports and recreational programming for middle school and high school youth during peak weekend hours, typically Saturdays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Delivered in partnership with the New York City Police Department and community-based organizations, SNL uses basketball and other sports activities to give young people a safe, supervised, and positive place to be on Saturday nights, while building trust and positive relationships between youth, law enforcement, and community partners. CAMBA operates SNL programming at sites where it holds the SNL contract.
