This role plays a critical part in helping medical professionals obtain state licenses efficiently and accurately.
You’ll research licensing requirements, coordinate documentation, and maintain strong relationships with licensing boards.
The position combines administrative precision, customer service, research, and proactive problem-solving.
You’ll communicate regularly with healthcare professionals and internal teams, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Success requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Manage licensing activities for medical professionals while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of speed and accuracy.
- Gather information and conduct online research into state-specific licensing requirements and documentation.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with state licensing boards to facilitate efficient licensure.
- Ensure all licensing activities are completed proactively and in accordance with established team guidelines and processes.
- Provide timely, professional customer service through written and verbal communication with medical professionals and internal sales teams.
- Deliver consistent and thorough updates on licensing progress, requirements, and potential issues.
- Prioritize and organize workload using internal software and systems to ensure deadlines and performance expectations are met.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of licensing activities and communications.
- Provide backup and support to other team members when needed, including helping address interim staffing gaps.
- Participate in special projects and other assignments while identifying opportunities to improve processes and solve problems in innovative ways.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn proprietary software and internal systems.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work accurately and thoroughly while following established procedures and performance standards.
- Strong adaptability and willingness to respond effectively to changing priorities and workplace needs.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make critical decisions, and seek direction when appropriate.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to identify innovative solutions to challenges and opportunities.
- Interest in developing knowledge of the locum tenens and healthcare staffing industry, including market and competitive trends.

- Ability to understand and consistently meet defined performance metrics and productivity expectations.
- Competitive hourly compensation of $18.27–$22.40.
