Responsibilities
The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the successful delivery of learning programs, leadership development initiatives, and employee development resources across ADS. This role serves as a key partner in coordinating training logistics, learning management system administration, vendor support, communications, and participant engagement. The Coordinator works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure learning solutions are executed efficiently, effectively, and with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
Primary Job Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute learning and developent programs, leadership development sessions, and employee training initiatives.
- Manage training logistics, including classroom reservations, virtual meeting setup, catering, equipment, materials, and room configurations.
- Administer learning management system (LMS) processes, including course registration, attendance tracking, reporting, and participant communications.
- Coordinate enrollment, monitor registrations, and maintain accurate attendance and participation records.
- Develop and distribute participant communications before, during, and after learning events.
- Support vendor relationships by coordinating schedules, materials, shipments, invoicing, and program logistics.
- Create and maintain learning-related communications, marketing materials, and internal resources that promote employee engagement and awareness.
- Maintain employee-facing learning portals and resources to ensure information remains current and accessible.
- Collect, track, and summarize participant feedback and evaluation data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor and track department expenses, budgets, and related administrative records.
- Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries regarding learning programs, processes, resources, and development opportunities.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support related to training participation, expenditures, and program effectiveness.
- Provide onsite or virtual support during training events, ensuring a positive participant experience and resolving logistical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and vendors to support organizational development initiatives and learning objectives.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create clear and professional communications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong administrative, coordination, and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize company systems and technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, training programs, or similar activities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize work, and solve routine operational challenges efficiently.
- Associate degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience supporting program coordination, event coordination, training administration, or a related function.
- Experience supporting learning and development, talent development, human resources, or training functions preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple programs, stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with internal and external partners to manage schedules, logistics, and communications.
- Experience maintaining records, preparing reports, and tracking program data.
- Ability to update and maintain training materials, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Experience responding to employee inquiries and delivering excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ability to move training materials and equipment as needed for program setup and execution.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support training events, meetings, and business needs.
