Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Specialty Registered Dental Assistant who puts patient service first! The ideal candidate will have experience in one of the following specialties - oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and/or prosthodontics. You will travel between our different practices for this position with mileage reimbursement available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist dental specialist during examinations and a variety of treatment procedures.

• Ensure patient comfort and educate them on dental procedures.

• Provide patient with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.

• Initiate post-surgical care calls to patients to answer questions and ensure patient care.

• Operate X-ray and 3D scanning equipment and develop radiographs for diagnostic purposes.

• Take impressions of teeth as needed for study casts (models of teeth).

• Manage infection control, prepare and sterilize instruments as well as your assigned operatory.

• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed.

• It is essential to be flexible, friendly and work in a team environment. In addition, the Dental Assistant must display excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of specialty experience

• High school diploma or GED

• Registered Dental Assistant certificate (must have proof of licensure)

• Current CPR certification required.
