SALESFORCE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

BACKGROUND ON THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect that will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the technical design and integration of several different business units. This candidate will participate in a Salesforce Admin Coalition to address and manage release management efforts that creates a Best-in-Class marketing, sales, and service solution for our employees, clients, and customers. The individual will support projects and programs initiated by the client and will sit on-site in Dearborn, MI.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Enhance the Salesforce.com user structure including profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new Salesforce.com development requests
  • Develop and formalize a change request process to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
  • Perform QA functionality testing for all interactive projects.
  • Design and build reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routines.
  • Work interdependently with members of the user community to define and document requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to negotiate an agreed upon timeline for project completion.
  • Assist in project coordination of evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests to make enhancements based on the cross functional needs of each business unit. Assist in creating training documentation, governance, and a Center of Excellence for a Salesforce instance with multiple business units.
  • Participate in meetings to maintain awareness of the opportunity pipeline and any support that may require from resulting opportunities.
  • Participate in regular meeting cadence with other Mobility Salesforce Admins to successfully drive Salesforce.com projects to completion
Requirements:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Experienced with Salesforce.com data management and migration of projects.
  • Be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment addressing the needs of several competing priorities.
  • Ability to consider the long-term effects and make recommendations for changes and investments into the Salesforce Instance.
  • Thrive on working with diverse personalities and organizations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional communications skills and comfort working closely with stakeholders from various disciplines.
  • Proficiency with designing and implementing new Salesforce.com processes and facilitating user adoption.
  • Proficiency with the Salesforce.com platform best practices for creating custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently with general guidelines and little supervision.
  • Strong time management, organization, prioritization & communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing change and ability to adapt to constantly fluctuating priorities.
  • Be a multi-tasker and manage simultaneous projects and respond to change effectively.
  • Big-picture thinker.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar is preferred
  • The technical reference for both the team and the client, a person with great knowledge of Salesforce and other cloud-based products, data management and integrations.
  • 2+ years experience working as a developer/architect in Salesforce
  • 2+ years experience with APEX & Visualforce
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification Required
  • Salesforce Architecture Certifications are a plus
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Lightning
