SAGE Black is seeking qualified candidates who are Programmers with experience in Space environments.

The primary responsibility will be to support the Ground SW & DB teams working off technical debt on the Advanced EHF & Milstar System Database (ASDB), Missions Operations Element (MOPS) and Test Training, and Simulation Element (TTSE) system configurations. This position involves working closely with the database and SW engineering teams to fix, update and/or create SW/DB Tools. The candidate(s) must be able to work independently to complete the necessary implementations.

Requirements:

• Active SECRET clearance or higher
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in Software Engineering or Software Programming concentration.
• Must have strong team working and user support skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, team player and have ability to support multiple projects.
• Good computer and programming skills to develop maintainable SW code and/or shell scripting, perform unit testing, integration testing.
• Development on Military Satellite Ground systems (operations and development/maintenance)
• AEHF ground software domain experience preferred
• Working with a geographically distributed engineering organization
• Oracle Database (SQL)
• Agile Methodology Experience
• Automated Test
• 1+ years of Git/GitLab Experience
• 5+ years of development (PERL, Python)
• 3+ years of Lifecycle Experience
• 3+ years of UNIX OS platform
• 3+ years of UNIX OS scripting (ZSH)

The selected candidate will serve as a tools developer supporting the AEHF/Milstar COOLR Milsatcom Maintenance Team (MMT) on or near Peterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Colorado Springs, CO.
