Pool/Grounds Team Member in Mears, Michigan at Grace Adventures

Grace Adventures is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible-based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and demonstrate the foot washing philosophy. By working with excellence to fulfill all the various tasks and responsibilities of a maintenance team member. This person must be diligent in their work and able to interact with staff and guests in a professional manner.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and uphold the policies and procedures of Dunes Harbor as pertaining to themselves and guests.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work space in the maintenance building.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in whatever weather conditions are present.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, etc
• Aid in the care and upkeep of the pool facility
• Aid in the care and upkeep of all buildings and Renal units
• Perform all tasks and duties as assigned by the Maintenance/ Security Manager and or Maintenance Lead

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in regard to care and cleanliness of all Dunes Harbor. facilities and grounds and equipment.
• Display a Christ like attitude to staff and guests recognizing that our work is to serve God and not just people.
• Understand Grace Adventure’s ministry and be supportive of its goals.
• Serve guests and campground staff as needed.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Dunes Harbor Family Camp Director

REPORTS TO: Dunes Harbor Family Camp Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age: 16
• Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Have a Servants' heart
• Display a good work ethic
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Strong Desire to be part of a team
• Willing to have a flexible schedule (work evenings and weekends)
• Good health and stamina are required to implement campground programming. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
• Must have a driver’s license and have a comfort level with operating grounds machinery and equipment
