Zuern Building Products & Design Center is actively seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator at our Delafield location. Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator assists Account Managers in delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting the sales process from quote to completion. This role is responsible for accurately processing quotations and orders, coordinating schedules, and communicating with customers, vendors, Account Managers, and fellow team members to ensure projects move forward smoothly and efficiently.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter quotation and order requests into the company P.O.S. system
  • Set up new job accounts and maintain job-specific pricing
  • Review and verify order acknowledgements
  • Assist Account Managers with all aspects of the sales process
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, product availability, shipping dates, and project updates
  • Conduct showroom product selection meetings with customers
  • Provide occasional material take-offs for smaller projects
  • Perform field measurements for windows and millwork projects as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal team members to ensure projects remain on schedule
  • Stay current on vendor pricing, product availability, and product knowledge
  • Utilize company software, Microsoft Office applications, and vendor systems to support daily responsibilities
  • Assist customers at the service counter as needed
  • Review and resolve open orders and outstanding quotations
  • Follow up with customers and Account Managers regarding open quotes and order status
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment
Requirements:
  • Vocational Degree in Business or a related field, and/or 2+ years of experience in the building materials industry preferred
  • Ability to understand blueprints and building material terminology
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Personable, professional, and well organized
  • Desire to learn and grow within the building materials industry
