Nortons is looking for a professional and responsible Server for our daily restaurant operations.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly to tables while ensuring proper presentation.
• Assist guests with any inquiries about the menu or specials.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas by sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accuracy of orders.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and provide change as necessary.
• Support team members in various tasks as needed to enhance guest services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is desirable.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
