About the Role

As a Bartender at the Lakeview Restaurant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and responsible alcohol service. This position also interacts directly with guests by taking orders, providing recommendations, answering questions, and delivering friendly and attentive service.

In addition, the Bartender helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area and supports the overall operation of the Lakeview Restaurant during both regular and high-volume service periods.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous bartending experience or experience in a similar food and beverage role.

  • Ability to provide friendly, professional guest service.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bartending or mixology certification.

  • Previous experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or resort environment.

  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and guest preferences.

  • Take beverage orders and provide friendly, attentive, and timely service.

  • Make recommendations and answer guest questions regarding cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and other beverage options.

  • Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable laws and resort policies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout the shift.

  • Wash and organize glassware, clean bar surfaces, and properly dispose of waste.

  • Monitor inventory and restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies as needed.

  • Assist with inventory counts and bar supply needs.

  • Accurately process guest transactions and follow established cash-handling procedures.

  • Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen employees, supervisors, and other team members to support efficient service.

  • Assist coworkers during busy periods and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

  • Follow all health, sanitation, safety, and food and beverage regulations.

  • Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities as assigned.
