This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Service Representative based in Canada.
This is a hands-on technical service role supporting industrial and fleet-wash customers across British Columbia.
You’ll work directly with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges, improve processes, and reduce their total operating costs.
The position combines field service, mechanical and chemical expertise, customer relationship management, and technical problem-solving.
You’ll manage a diverse customer portfolio and provide on-site support, testing, equipment service, and product guidance.

- Provide responsive technical service at customer sites, supporting product applications and helping drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term value.
- Manage multiple customers across the assigned geography, supporting a variety of product lines and adapting service approaches to individual customer needs.
- Respond to customer questions and technical requests, providing practical information, troubleshooting support, and recommendations.
- Perform equipment repairs, replacements, and installations, as well as chemical testing, inventory management, and other on-site service activities.
- Diagnose technical and mechanical challenges, recommend solutions, and help customers improve operational processes and efficiency.
- Conduct service audits and on-site testing while monitoring equipment performance, chemical usage, inventory levels, dosage rates, and other relevant operating metrics.
- Accurately document and communicate findings, abnormal conditions, test results, meter and setpoint readings, and recommended corrective actions.
- Maintain complete and accurate customer and service information using analytics, CRM, and other data-collection systems.
- Learn and utilize relevant digital tools, including eTools, system surveys, cost calculators, and equivalent technical resources.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and cross-functional support functions to resolve customer issues and deliver consistent service.
- Manage schedules, priorities, and travel requirements independently while maintaining a high standard of technical and customer service.
- Uphold strong standards of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Must reside in British Columbia.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical, chemical, industrial, or a closely related technical environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with electrical systems and pipefitting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform technical and mechanical testing in field or customer-site environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and effectively support a diverse range of products and technical services.
- Comfortable adapting to different customer requirements, operating environments, and unexpected service situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, CRM platforms, analytics tools, and other systems used for documentation and data collection.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight travel.
