Accountant - Full Time - Exempt in Blountstown, Florida at Calhoun Liberty Hospital Association, Inc

Summary:
The Accountant will be a financial professional that manages and analyzes financial records, performs complex accounting mathematics and reviews financial data. Using this information to communicate with different departments within Calhoun Liberty Hospital (CLH) will ensure proper fiscal operation of the hospital while helping to provide proper care to patients, their families and visitors. Further, the Accountant will be responsible for Accounts Payable and will assist with payroll as necessary

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze financial records and data
- Have sound knowledge of mathematics along with sound accounting knowledge
- Recognize any missing or incorrect data in the records
- Interpret the financial records and suggest if any error is occurring there and should provide ways of improving the same
- Produce error-free accounting records and present their results
- Analyze financial data for preparation of financial records and forecasting of budgets
- Interpret financial and provide results as directed by management
- Analyze financial information and summarize results
- Participate in the preparation of budget and forecast revenues and expenditures
- Processes Accounts Payable for the organization
- Assist with Payroll preparation, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in accounting is preferred; bachelor’s degree is considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Multiview ERP and CPSI is a plus
• Good listening and communication skills
• Able to work with limited supervision
