About the role:
As a Business Operations Associate (Generalist) at Bolt Graphics, you will operate as a high-leverage execution partner across multiple functions, including Human Resources, Business Development, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Legal. This role sits at the center of the organization and is designed for individuals who genuinely thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments and take pride in owning and completing projects end-to-end.
Excellent problem-solving skills will be your greatest asset in this role. You will be responsible for driving day-to-day execution across critical workflows, ensuring that teams are unblocked and operating efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to manage processes, track progress, and maintain operational rigor across the organization.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is highly reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to gain exposure to how a high-growth semiconductor company operates across functions.
What you'll do:
- Own and execute operational workflows across multiple teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Coordinate internal operations, including but not limited to vendor management, office logistics, and cross-functional support across IT, HR, Legal, Business Development, Finance, and Engineering teams
- Influence strategic decisions by building consensus and mobilizing towards execution
- Execute ad hoc tasks across departments to unblock teams and maintain operational efficiency
- Track and manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail and prioritization
- Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
- Identify gaps in processes and proactively improve operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in early-stage startup/business operations, venture capital, management consulting, or product management roles
- Sharp analytical skills with the ability to get up to speed on unfamiliar topics fast and form well-evidenced views. You're comfortable being wrong and changing your mind when the data says so
- Highly comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with minimal structure and adapts quickly to changes in a dynamic environment
- High attention to detail, self-motivated, and a strong sense of ownership over outcomes
- Demonstrated reliability and responsiveness in previous roles or projects
- Strong relationship-builder with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to meet hard close deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt across different functions and contexts
- Interest in startups, strategy & operations, and building foundational business skills
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus
- Background in semiconductors is a plus
Compensation Range: $100,000–$125,000 per year (California). This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role; the final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
