Host/Hostess in St Augustine, Florida at Ice Plant Bar & Bottle Shop Inc

Ice Plant is looking for a friendly, dependable host to join our front-of-house team. The host is the first impression of the restaurant and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations and the waitlist, seating tables, answering phones, helping coordinate the flow of the dining room, communicating with servers and managers, and keeping the host stand clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is warm, professional, organized, and able to stay calm in a busy restaurant environment. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude are important. Prior restaurant experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person.
