Position Summary:
The Kit Warehouse Associate is responsible for assembling, organizing, packaging, and preparing kits for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. This role supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring kits are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble product kits according to work orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Pick, pack, and label materials for kit production and shipment.
- Verify quantities and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
- Prepare completed kits for shipping and coordinate with shipping personnel as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanners (forklift certification preferred, if applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse duties.
- Meet productivity and quality goals while adhering to deadlines.

Education and Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Preferred: previous warehouse, fulfillment, assembly, or inventory experience.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to either stand and walk on a hard surface or drive a delivery vehicle and load or unload the truck for the majority of the workday. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and carry and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The ability to speak and hear sufficiently to provide customer service is required.
Store Environment: Medium-to-large store with shelves and bins, most work is performed with telephone, material handling equipment, computer, fax, printer, and in some cases an RF scanner.
