Driver/Warehouse Shipping & Receiving in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania at E F Precision LLC

Driver I is responsible for operating a box truck of less than 26,000lbs to transport non-hazardous materials, equipment, and work-in-process goods between customers, suppliers, and company locations. This position includes loading and unloading the vehicle, preparing shipments for carriers or delivery, supporting shipping and receiving functions, operating a forklift, and performing additional duties as needed. A strong focus on safety, compliance, customer service, and accurate record keeping is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck ~26,000 GVW on public roadways, adhering to all DOT and company safety policies.

• Transport customer material, supplier shipments, and in-process goods to required destinations.

• Load and unload truck and prepare materials for shipment or delivery.

• Support warehouse shipping and receiving operations, including staging, packaging, and processing incoming and outgoing materials.

• Maintain accurate records including delivery paperwork, shipment counts, bills of lading, and other required documentation.

• Complete and maintain driving logs, pre- and post-trip inspection reports, and other regulatory or company-required documentation.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues immediately.

• Follow safe lifting and material-handling practices.

• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.

• Represent the company professionally with strong customer service skills.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Attention to detail in record keeping and documentation.

Physical & Licensing Requirements

• Valid Driver license (CDL preferred but not necessary)

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Must have a clean driving record.

• Must successfully pass background checks and any required pre-employment screenings.
