General Cleaner – Part-Time Cleaner in Sanford, Florida at FCS Facility Services

Position: Part-Time Cleaner
Schedule: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
Location: Seminole County Locations – Multiple Sites

Pay Rate: $15.00

We are looking for a dependable and flexible Part-Time Cleaner to support multiple FCS Services locations throughout Seminole County.

This position will assist with cleaning and general facility support at assigned locations. The employee will also use a company vehicle to travel between locations and assist managers with various operational needs, including responding to requests for supplies, equipment, or other items as needed.

Daily responsibilities may vary based on business needs and requests from management. When transportation or other support duties are not required, the employee will perform cleaning and janitorial duties at assigned locations.

• Travel between assigned Seminole County locations.

• Assist managers and site personnel with various operational requests as needed.

• Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties at assigned locations.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and other assigned areas.

• Empty trash containers and replace liners.

• Dust, wipe, and clean surfaces and common areas.

• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.

• Assist with special cleaning projects and other facility-support tasks.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.

• Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, supply needs, or other issues to management.

• Safely use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and other assigned tools.

• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions from management.

• Provide support at different locations based on daily operational needs.

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

• Valid driver's license.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and respond to changing priorities.

• Comfortable traveling between multiple locations.

• Professional and courteous when interacting with managers, employees, customers, and site personnel.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, and pull throughout the shift.

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

• Ability to safely perform cleaning and facility-support duties at multiple locations.

The employee will travel between assigned Seminole County locations as needed. Daily assignments may vary depending on cleaning requirements and operational needs.

Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.

Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all applicable company requirements, including verification of employment eligibility, background screening.
