Editorial Associate (Temporary, Anticipated Oct 2026 – Jun 2027, Remote) in at TCI

The Editorial Associate will be responsible for writing, editing, and modifying content as assigned to deliver lessons that meet teacher, student, and TCI needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Create new content to meet customer needs as assigned
• Research content and source assets for lessons
• Support the repurposing of existing content by making changes to allow for reuse in other programs and content areas
• Identify coverage in TCI programs to meet standards and fill correlation gaps
• Review and edit video scripts
• Review produced videos to ensure adherence to script and text
• Review and edit questions and interactions in lessons
• Adhere to TCI’s style guidelines and project parameters
• Ensure that content is grade-level friendly and accessible to students

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Available to work 35–40 hours per week during standard business hours
• At least three years of editorial experience
• At least three years of K–12 curriculum experience, with a focus on social studies or science
• Experience aligning content to state standards
• Experience fact-checking and identifying primary and secondary sources
• Experience with educational video content
• Ability to meet deadlines while working independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and project management tools
• Must have an updated personal laptop/computer (no more than 5 years old) able to run recent versions of TCI provided systems and applications (Windows or macOS only)

This position is remote. The pay range for this position is between $28 and $38 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills, and location.
