Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist - Springfield, MA in Springfield, Massachusetts at Boston IVF

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Assist Physicians with clinical proceduresFollow proper protocols for all proceduresPractice phlebotomy Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.Maintain clinical supplies inventory.Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred

6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practicePhlebotomy experience required
