Warehouse Manager in Carlsbad, New Mexico at Platinum Control

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager, will report to the President of Burn-Rite, assumes responsibility for performing duties related to shipping and handling, receiving materials, inventory management and control, establishing and maintaining effective communications with fellow team members and necessary persons, and for the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. These duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains records of all outgoing and incoming shipments to and from the warehouse daily.
• Prepares shipping documents (BOL) and completes mailing labels.
• Ensures that all orders are fulfilled correctly and processed efficiently.
• Records inventory used for BOMs and updates management when changes are made.
• Reviews field technician inventory levels and pulls parts for pick up as needed.
• Prepares material kits and performs light assembly of products for production/service teams.
• Maintains shipping supplies inventory.
• Picks up or receives orders from vendors and returns from clients if needed.
• Checks received material as to compliance with the packing list and purchase order or RMA form.
• Utilizes the accounting system to enter important data related to shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Communicates inventory purchasing needs or concerns to management.
• Confirm reports reflecting the current status of inventory items.
• Performs physical inventory counts.
• Secures appropriate parts and supplies needed for the warehouse.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area and associated equipment.
• Completes work in a neat and safe manner.
• Seeks growth in expanding knowledge and skills through training and education.
• Presents self in clean, neat, professional manner and wears company uniform (if provided) in its entirety.
• Communicates questions and concerns to management.
• Engages in the company’s vision and seeks to implement processes and establish goals with the company’s vision in mind.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties assigned.
