This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Managing Consultant – Endur Technical based in India.

The Managing Consultant will lead complex ETRM/CTRM implementation and upgrade projects, helping energy and commodity trading organizations optimize their trading, risk management, and operational processes. This senior role combines deep Endur expertise with strategic consulting, technical solution design, and project leadership. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions across the commodity trading lifecycle. From deal modelling and valuation to risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting, you will contribute to successful technology transformation initiatives. The position also offers opportunities to advise senior stakeholders, guide project teams, and mentor junior consultants. You will join a collaborative, internationally connected consulting environment that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional excellence, with remote working flexibility and occasional client-site travel.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic consulting engagements involving Endur implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives across energy and commodity markets, including gas, power, renewables, LNG, agriculture, crude oil, and refined products.
  • Serve as a senior Endur subject matter expert, advising clients on physical and derivative trading, deal modelling, valuation, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, settlements, and accounting processes.
  • Assess client business requirements, analyze existing workflows, identify operational improvement opportunities, and recommend appropriate Endur solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead implementation activities across solution design, configuration, customization, functional testing, quality assurance, deployment, and transition to operational support.
  • Provide expertise in Endur risk management and valuation capabilities, including mark-to-market (MTM), profit and loss (P&L), value at risk (VaR), and end-of-day automation using TPM and Services Manager.
  • Design and guide Endur customizations, reporting solutions, complex desktops, APM pages, and pre-processing and post-processing logic to meet specific business and technical requirements.
  • Apply best practices in Endur architecture and implementation methodology to deliver robust, scalable solutions that maximize the platform's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate functional requirements into effective technical designs and customized system enhancements.
  • Manage project deliverables, documentation, business requirements, implementation designs, test plans, test results, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established standards.
  • Oversee project execution, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery priorities while ensuring quality, timelines, and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams, communicating project progress, managing changing requirements, and facilitating effective change management.
  • Deliver functional guidance, training, and industry insights on Endur and ETRM/CTRM solutions while supporting knowledge sharing and the professional development of junior consultants.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the consulting practice by sharing expertise, supporting client engagements, and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • At least seven years of hands-on Endur experience in a lead consultant, principal consultant, team lead, or project management capacity, with working knowledge of Endur version 19 and above.
  • Ten or more years of overall industry experience, including at least three years in comparable consulting services or client-facing advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated involvement as a key contributor or leader in at least two large-scale, end-to-end Endur implementation or upgrade projects across gas, power, renewables, LNG, crude oil, or refined products.
  • Deep functional expertise in relevant Endur modules, commodity and energy trading operations, financial products, risk management, logistics, settlements, and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Endur risk and valuation functionality, including MTM, P&L, VaR, and end-of-day automation through TPM and Services Manager.
  • Extensive understanding of Endur customization approaches, reporting capabilities, complex desktops, APM pages, and pre-processing and post-processing logic.
  • Solid understanding of Endur architecture, solution design principles, and implementation best practices, with the ability to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Proven experience leading functional design, configuration, testing, quality assurance, implementation, and post-implementation transition activities.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments and across Front, Middle, or Back Office functions, with specialization in areas such as physical and paper trading, market or credit risk, operational risk, compliance, logistics, pipeline and vessel scheduling, nominations, demurrage, settlements, accounts receivable/payable, or invoice management.
  • Experience with Endur gMotion or cMotion is an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and functional concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, combined with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited guidance while collaborating effectively within cross-cultural and geographically distributed teams.
  • Flexibility to support multiple time zones when required and willingness to travel to client locations for limited periods according to project needs.
  • A proactive leadership style, adaptability in fast-paced consulting environments, and a commitment to mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and delivering high-quality client outcomes.
