Job Description

Fire Service Technician
DiVal Safety Equipment – Albany, NY

Full-time, 7am – 3:30pm

Pay Range: $23 - $28


Join DiVal Safety Equipment and be part of a team that values hard work, commitment, positivity, accountability, and prioritizes safety on the job. As a Fire Service Technician, you’ll travel to customer locations and help maintain essential safety equipment. You do not need previous fire-service experience to get started. We provide training.

What You’ll Do –

Inspect and service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, eyewash stations, and AEDsReplenish first-aid kits and PPE vending machinesProvide professional, high-quality service at customer locationsManage your daily schedule in coordination with supervisors and teammatesArrive at customer locations on time and ready to provide excellent serviceComplete service paperwork accurately and on timeCommunicate customer needs or service issues with your teamKeep your company vehicle clean and service-readyFollow established safety procedures and report potential safety concernsAssist with additional service needs as needed


What You’ll Bring –

A dependable, self-motivated approach to your workStrong organization and attention to detailProfessional communication and customer-service skillsAbility to work independently while still being part of a teamAbility to be on your feet for much of the workday and lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel based on workloadHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to successfully complete a drug screen and physical
