This role offers the opportunity to contribute to accurate, compliant, and efficient accounting operations within a collaborative and fully remote environment. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, classifying, and recording accounting transactions while supporting financial reporting and tax-related activities. The position combines hands-on accounting expertise with opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and optimize accounting systems. You will also work with tax regimes, statutory obligations, and external audits, gaining broad exposure to critical accounting processes. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and technical accuracy will be essential to maintaining reliable financial information. This is a temporary opportunity designed to provide coverage during a maternity leave period.
- Review, analyze, classify, and record accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting practices.
- Identify and propose improvements to accounting reconciliation processes, contributing to greater efficiency, reliability, and quality of financial information.
- Prepare complete financial statements and support the organization in maintaining accurate and timely accounting records.
- Calculate and determine tax obligations under the Lucro Real and Lucro Presumido taxation regimes, ensuring appropriate treatment and compliance.
- Prepare and fulfill accounting ancillary obligations, including ECD and ECF, according to applicable requirements and deadlines.
- Provide accounting information, documentation, and support during external audits, responding to requests and assisting with the audit process.
- Participate actively in the implementation, improvement, and optimization of accounting systems and related processes.
- Completed higher education in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis) or a Technical Accounting qualification.
- Solid professional experience with accounting reconciliation and the calculation of Lucro Real and Lucro Presumido taxation regimes.
- Knowledge of submitting accounting ancillary obligations and familiarity with SPED Contábil and SPED Fiscal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work effectively with accounting data and controls.
- Good understanding of accounting processes, financial records, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience providing support to external audits is considered desirable.
- Experience with RM TOTVS is considered a differentiator.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and deadlines are important for success in the role.
