This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Leader de Governança e Administração de Identidades (IGA) based in Brazil.
This is a strategic technology leadership role within Information Security, focused on strengthening identity and access governance across the organization.
You will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of IGA/IAM processes, balancing security, compliance, and operational agility.
The role covers the full identity lifecycle, from onboarding and access changes to offboarding and periodic recertification.
You will influence security practices across technology and business teams while serving as a technical and strategic reference.
The position offers an opportunity to mature controls around RBAC, SoD, SSO, MFA, PAM, and related identity technologies.
You will also contribute to regulatory compliance, audits, risk management, and the continuous improvement of security processes.

- Lead the strategy and execution of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA/IAM) processes, ensuring alignment between security, compliance, and business agility.
- Develop, review, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures governing identities and access management.
- Promote security awareness initiatives and training programs focused on IGA/IAM best practices across the organization.
- Ensure identity and access controls comply with applicable regulatory and security requirements, including PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/27002, Bacen Resolution 85, and SOX.
- Oversee the effectiveness of access controls such as RBAC, Segregation of Duties (SoD), SSO, MFA, and PAM.
- Lead and respond to internal and external audits involving identity and access governance.
- Identify risks and vulnerabilities related to identities and access, defining and implementing effective remediation plans.
- Manage the complete access lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, offboarding, and periodic access recertification.
- Support the integration and management of IAM, PAM, and CIAM solutions, prioritizing operational efficiency and scalability.
- Act as a technical and strategic reference for Information Security and for the business and technology teams impacted by identity governance initiatives.
- Solid professional experience in Identity and Access Management and Governance, including IAM, IGA, PAM, CIAM, SSO, and MFA.
- Proven experience directly leading people or teams within Technology or Information Security.
- Strong knowledge of RBAC implementation, SoD controls, access policies, and approval workflows.
- Practical experience with security compliance processes, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with identity administration solutions, password vaulting, and PAM technologies.
- Ability to assess identity and access risks, prioritize vulnerabilities, and lead effective remediation initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence professionals at different organizational levels.
- Familiarity with market IAM/IDM solutions and technologies such as Push Security, Keeper Security, and senhasegura is a plus.
- Experience participating in PCI-DSS audits focused on IAM controls is desirable.
- Certifications or training in IAM, access governance, or information security, such as CIAM, CISM, or CompTIA Security+, are valued.
- Previous experience in fintech or financial institutions is a plus.
- Technical English is desirable.
