We are looking for enthusiastic applicants to join our team as a Stock Associate.
About the Role
As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the store. Including but not limited to…
- Manage the shipping and receiving of incoming inventory by unloading, unpacking, and inspecting for accuracy and any damages in a timely manner
- Organize products on shelves and in storage areas, following proper inventory procedures to maintain stock levels of all items
- Conduct regular stock counts andassistin resolving inventory discrepancies oroverstock situations
- Ensure products are properly labelled, priced, and presented in accordance to store standards
- Keep stockrooms clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards, ensuring easy access to inventory and optimal operational efficiency
- Assist customers by locating products and offering general support as needed
- Work closely with store teams to ensure timely replenishment of products on the sales floor
- Support with store opening and setup
- Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, combined with excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with a friendly and energetic personality
- Strong problem-solving abilities and able to adapt to changing inventory needs and store demands
- Basic math proficiency for scheduled inventory counts and supporting loss prevention efforts
- Adheres to company policies and maintains compliance with workplace safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30lbs for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for products on shelves or storage areas
- Comfortable using ladders or step stools to climb and access higher shelves or stock
- Willing to work in a retail setting that may require moderate noise levels, brightlighting, or fluctuations in temperature
