About the Role:

The Truss Assembler plays a critical role in the construction and manufacturing industry by fabricating and assembling wooden or metal trusses that form the structural framework of buildings. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that each truss meets engineering specifications and safety standards. The assembler will work closely with design plans and blueprints to accurately cut, position, and fasten components using various tools and machinery. The ultimate goal of this role is to produce high-quality trusses that contribute to the stability and durability of construction projects. Additionally, the Truss Assembler will collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold workplace safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truss assembly or a related construction role.
  • Familiarity with automated truss manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand truss design requirements.
